How are SA20 points calculated?
SA20’s established points system awards:

The extra bonus point rewards a winning team whose match run rate is at least 1.25 times its opponent’s, under the competition’s calculation rules. It is based on that match, not the team’s tournament NRR.
These are the established league rules; any published Season 5 changes take precedence.
How many teams qualify for the playoffs?
The top four teams after the league stage qualify. Each team plays ten league matches, facing every opponent home and away. Finishing in the top two provides a second chance through the qualifier route if the team loses Qualifier 1.
What does NRR mean in the points table?
Net run rate measures a team’s overall scoring rate against the rate it concedes across eligible matches. A positive NRR means the team has scored faster than its opponents overall.
NRR is not the first deciding factor when teams finish level on points: SA20 has used wins and bonus-point wins before NRR. A higher NRR alone therefore does not guarantee a higher position.
